New York, New York

We walked about a mile from the hotel in Stamford to the train station. Making it just in time to catch the next train to Grand Central Station.

Grand Central Station was bustling with people from all walks of life.

Chrysler Building, not to be mistaken with the Empire State Building..

Police & military were out in force due to the bombing that had just occurred the day previous in the Chelsea neighborhood. Snapped this quick street photo as we hurried past.

Took the subway south to Canal street where we would walk to the World Trade Center memorial and 1 WTC tower.0

My first glimpse of the 1 WTC tower. I hadn't been to NYC since 2009.

It was surreal standing in the footprints of the World Trade Centers.

Battery Park is one of my favorite places in Manhattan, so we made our way there to catch a glimpse of the Statue of Liberty.

We saw this sailboat coming in to dock and found out that you can take a ride around the harbor. So that's what we did! First time on a sail boat!

Oh Captain, my Captain.
